4 days before the ship arrives:

The shipping company orders the oil through bunker trader or physical supplier, selects the offer with the lower price and signs the contract;

3 days before the ship arrives:

  • The shipping company pays for the fuel in accordance with the terms of the bunkering;
  • The shipping company appoints an agent, negotiates the harbor dues and pays the harbor dues in advance;
  • The shipping company submits relevant documents to the shipping agent;
  • The shipping agent sends the details of the bunkering anchorage to the captain and the shipping company;

2 days before the ship arrives:

  • The declaration of the freight forwarder is adopted;
  • The declaration of the shipping agent is adopted;

1 days before the ship arrives:

The shipping company reports the expected arrival time of the vessel to the shipping agent and applies for an expected bunkering plan;

Ship arrives:

  • The shipping agent applies for a bunkering plan based on the expected exact time of arrival at the port;

  • Ship’s agent applying for and completing departure formalities with the port department based on the expected departure time with a departure certificate with a missing number;

  • The shipping agent field and barge crew go to the outer anchorage on a barge with the oil supplier’s operator;

  • The shipping agent field office gets the original copy of the ship’s entry and exit declaration document from the oil recipient ship;

  • The shipping agency housekeeping declares the departure procedures to Zhoushan electronic port;

  • Bunkering is finished, the shipping agent housekeeping gets the departure certificate number, the captain enters the departure certificate number by hand, and the oiled vessel leaves the port;
